Reactivity


One thing I love about computer role-playing games I've played is reactivity from characters based on my choices. Some characters will approve of a choice while others disapprove, and some even become enemies. I really enjoy when a game "remembers" even some minor choice I made hours ago and brings it up.

I'm keeping track of a bunch of variables in my visual novel so there can possibly be reactivity from characters later, i.e. did you insult them? Did you mention something to them you have in common? Even the book choice in the beginning will affect Silvana's knowledge in future parts of the game. This can already be seen in the demo when Silvana talks with Cassander at the tavern.

I'm so excited for this game. It feels like a full game, with real responses to choices, not just set dressing for 'choose your partner'.
